Frank Tassone, a Republican aide in the Suffolk Legislature, has gone into consulting full-time.
Tassone, who had been on leave fom his county post
for the past year, becomes senior vice-president in
charge of client communications with Roosevelt
Strategy Group, headed by Anthony Manetta who ran
the winning sheriff campaign a year ago for Vincent
DeMarco. While at the county legislature, Tassone
had been chief of staff to former Legis. Andrew
Crecca (R-Nesconset), now a judge.
While on leave, Tassone worked for Manetta's firm as
a advisor in Jeanine Pirro's losing race for
attorney general and in Islip GOP town board
member's Pamela Greene's unsuccessful run for town
supervisor last fall.
